Adolescence combined with
severely limiting autism spectrum
disorders (ASD) presents a unique
challenge for the effected individual,
families, educators and therapists.
In this session, we will explore age
appropriate interventions for
addressing behavioral concerns
including aggression, refusal to
work, stripping, self-stimulation,
ineffective communication,
offensive communication,
echolalia, sexual behavior,
seizure-related behaviors,
wandering, non-compliance and
other behaviors that commonly
interfere with social success and
learning.
