training for this conference. It outlines the content and hours of instruction.
2. 12 CPDUs from the Illinois State Board of Education will be available for this conference, or 6 CPDUs per day.
3. IACET CEU’s (International Association for Continuing Education and Training) are offered for this activity.
Individuals wishing to earn CEUs are advised to check with their certification body, licensure agency, and/or employer to
determine if these CEUs can be used to satisfy specific requirements. The CEU website for these IACET CEU’s is:

Current concepts of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) extend much further
than the traditional triad of inattention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity. The course will
cover the full range of symptoms experienced by people with ADHD and their families—
including over-reactions, brakeless behaviors, easy frustration, disorganization, and
“future blindness.” Special emphasis will be given to the concepts of executive function;
and to co-morbidities such as autistic spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, anxieties,
OCD, tics, depression, bipolar depression, sensory integration disorder, and central
auditory processing. Dr. Kutscher empathically summarizes how to identify and
differentiate these co-occurring issues. Behavioral therapy at home, organizational
support at home and school, and medication treatments will be discussed.
Learning Objectives for Participants:
-Understand the role of executive function problems in ADHD (such as organization and
inhibition difficulties).
-Recognize other co-occurring conditions of the syndrome mix of autistic spectrum
disorders, anxiety/OCD spectrum disorders, tics, depression, bipolar depression, sensory

| This engaging workshop will provide an overview of a social skill instructional model developed by Dr. Bellini. The workshop will provide research on social-emotional functioning as well as practical and effective strategies for teaching social interaction skills to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs). The model provides a systematic and comprehensive framework to guide parents and practitioners in the development and implementation of effective social skills programming.
